OHHH yes I do.... yes I do. Wanna know why? well I'll tell you...
I brought Shade upstairs last night to our bedroom because that is where all my craft stuff is. I needed to get my butt in gear and finish this damn blanket! So here we go putting her on my bed and throwing on baby einstein. Well thankfully she just starts staring and drooling at the video so I can get my blanket going! :) WOOT!! Then...video is over (it's one of the short tapes) So I try putting in another one and NOOOOOO she wants to put the same one on again! OKAY... 2 times isn't that bad. By the time it was bath time. 6 TIMES!!! I need to get head phones, iPod or SOMETHING if I ever do that again. Good thing is I got half of the comfortghan done, Bad thing...I have that DAMN SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD! UGH!! On to other things...
Yesterday I couldn't blog to much and forgot to tell you that I went to the Coventry Farmers Market on Sunday. It was great, not only did they have great veggies, crafts and other things BUT there was someone there that sold yarn. Jackpot. I got some yarn off of one of her sheep named Martini! Isn't that kewl? Knowing the name of the sheep that your yarn came off off AND helping out LOCAL spinners. The lady spins and dyes her own and it was wonderful stuff. Not only that BUT she teaches classes on how to spin and do that drop spindle stuff. She is having people over Thursday but thats to soon and I have Shade! Maybe next time! I was pissed at myself for not bringing my camera to take pictures. But I do have that one skein at home that I can still show you. We also bought home made pickles and an apple pie. OH MY FREAKIN' LORD is that good! MMMmmmm Pie!!
So After talking about Pie I need to talk about my Tae Kwon Do! Even things off a little. lol Well I'm doing good and still learning 2 belts in one period so when I test at the end of this month I will be on my 4th belt. :) I am alos learning how to spar. And boy if you have some frustration buldup that is the PERFECT way to get it out. Put on some gear and go at one another! And she puts techno music on...Ohhh it's so much fun! I can't wait to test. I'm getting hyped up just thinking about my lesson tonight!
Well Gotta get goin. :( *HUGZ* and have a GREAT day!

Hi, Moe! I bet that IS neat having yarn right off the sheep :) I have a friend who goes to sheep shearings and buys the wool and her HUSBAND spins it so she can use it in her knitting machine. Now THATS a marriage, lol!
Have a great one!
Sandy
I'm jealous of your wool!!! Is it soft??
I want some apple pie now...thanks.
I tried to learn to spin wool using a spinning wheel. Wasn't pretty. Haven't tried drop spindle, but I think I'll leave the spinning to someone else :D
Please post a pic of your FO with your hand-dyed, hand-spun wool!!
TKD seems like something i have to do!
