New to me, but old on the label!

Well today I was just watching Shade upstairs so i could organize my yarn and things and I started a granny square with some old yarn I was given. It was Sayelle 100% acrylic. I didn't think it would be any different then today's acrylic. Boy was I wrong. It had a lot more elasticity in it and I felt that I didn't have to work it as hard as I usually do. The only problem I did have was the strands kept coming apart. I don't know if that was because of just that type of yarn or it was old yarn. I'm going to make a granny square lapghan out of it and wash it and off to the hospital it will go to a family in need.

And of course you can't just have one project. So I also started a wrap with my Jimbo "N" Hook (yeah I spoiled myself) and its coming out lovely. It's a pink boucle and it will look lovely with an Easter dress. I literally just took pictures.

So here is a 1/4 of the wrap and had to throw in Jimbo's hook. Don't forget to tell me what you think. :) Its a little brighter in the pic then it is.

And ya know I almost threw out the old yarn labels till I saw that they had GREAT patterns on them. I'll have to scan them one day when i figure out my scanner. :)

And here is that famous blue baby blanket. I still only have 2 rounds to go but still can't my hand to reach for it. I LOVE that sparkle baby coordinates has. Luckily i still have a few months to finish this one and make the pink one.

Also, I just signed up for the yarn addict web ring. Don't think I'm an addict. HAHAHAHA Well let me just show you, shall I?
Here we go. Hold on to your, well what ever you want to hold on too. :) I'll leave those thoughts to myself!

Here is my MISC. table with my binders of patterns, under the green skein of yarn is a crap load of pattern books, vintage and new. The 2 bins under it are filled with yarn to the brim, I can't even put the lid on the blue one. Oh and don't forget my mindless squares in green and blue that I am working on. :) That pile of white is about 2 inches worth of printed out patterns the I need to put in those binders that are already filled. Need to make a trip to walmart for some more of them. And some more of those sleeve protectors.

And you see that dresser to the left of the table?? Well here it is opened up for you.

Got the baby yarn, thread and more behind the hanging basket, which is the wool and more baby yarn. In the drawers are the novelty yarn.

YES, 2 drawers that barely close because they are so stuffed. 3rd drawer is actually filled with pants. Can you imagine? Need to find another place for those so I have more room for yarn, darn it!!

OK and here are my OTHER bins filled with yarn. Plus there is some on the floor and in the little green tote. Oh can't forget the yarn ON TOP of the dresser. :) I also have a HUGE green bin IN my closet.

Can anybody say "OH yeah" enough lol

Here are more pattern books and leaflets and magazines under my side table. YES I know I need to organize. That's why I was up there today with Shade tearing apart her own room. :)

Do I qualify? LMAO
Well right now I'm writing in here while waiting for SOMEONE to show up to CFL Chat. Puff did but I just missed her.
Well hope everybody has a great night. I think I am going to give up on chat yet again for another weekend and go upstairs to try and concer that mess I have.
Happy Crocheting!!
