Morning!!

Ya know I've been wanting to post in here....but I had nothing to post about. I still have those same rounds to do on the baby blanket and groan at the thought of finishing it. lol

Do you ever want to crochet something but don't want to think! Like reading a pattern or making your own? Well that's been me. I've been doing 5" plain Jane granny squares. I've used 4 1/2 skeins so far. I like the stash busting and all but i need to get out of this slump. And I don't even want to think about all those ends to sew in. UGH to the tenth power!! I need to finish that baby blanket and start on the pink one. And there is a cute daisy doily in annies fav? it's one of those small mags. i would like to make that one. And I have those Easter purses that I bought from Maggie's. When is Easter?? lol

My mom also came up for the weekend. It was fun. I have this ancient sewing machine that she was going to show me how to work(she gave it to me like 9 months ago)...and she did but the old fart (the sewing machine, NOT my mom) did NOT want to work properly. We broke 3 needles. the thread kept breaking because the machine wouldn't let it go. Let's just say it was trash time for that baby. But oh no....my mom can still use it. Although it only wants to sew in a straight line and she has 3 other ones. Shes going to bring up the one that I am used to working on in a few weeks. And all this fiasco to learn how to put a lining in my crochet purses as well as a zipper pocket. Let's just say I could only hem my curtains. I think I'm just going to buy one at walmart.
