Hello

Well hello and welcome to another day with Monet. Wow that rhymed! lol I am pleased to announce that I am finally getting a pair of glasses. I haven't had a pair since '03 when I lost them moving from one apartment in the military to another. They look really good on me too. :) *blush*

One the crocheting side I have been doing those Circles of Hope for Pam. I know I did 50 and some how Shade, my wonderful 16 month old daughter found a way to make some disappear so I am in the process of making more! Update.. I'm up to 84, which i think Pam will be happy with! lol I just started doing more and didn't realize how many I had, well till I had to sew in all the ends, then it felt like tooo many! :)

I'm hoping everything is going fine with the little girl who got hit by a hit and run driver, and hope she feels comforted and loved when she receives her blanket! Shes in my thoughts every day!




I'm also making some 12" squares for Cris. I have one done so far and nothing I do seems to get the square 12". I hate that! I know Cris is a wonderful Crocheter and can figure something out. :) Thanks Cris!!

I also hate my cat (I have two) Some how my cat got the mittens I made out of the wardrobe I have for my crafts and puked on them. And no I didn't try to wash them as the puke was to watery and I wasn't going to try and sell them after that! SO gross!

I am still working on the baby blanket and am up to row 26 I think and can try and take a picture tonight to show all of you or one or two of you who actually read this blog! :) I know I'm not as fun as Tara (Do your worsted, I get the biggest kick out of her, link at the side) but I'm me. Take it or leave it Buddie. Nobody is forcing you to read this! :P Well, maybe! I might have mind powers I don't know about!

So anyway, I have to clock into work now and do the best damn job I can do for my wonderful boss! And ya know I'm NOT being sarcastic!

Oh first I put up a "thing" on http://www.knitting-crochet.com/ about how I am starting a group right here in Broad Brook, CT. SO if you are close by I would love to hear from you. We will be meeting at Broad Brook Books & Stuff right down the street from where I live and the part owner is an avid knitter and said she would love to join in. So come on in and join. :) I need some crochet buddies, not that I don't love the ones online at Crochet for Life!! LOVE YOU GUYS!! But gotta have someone in real life! :) Right?
